Bhindi Do Pyaza


Bhindi (Lady Finger)- 250 g

Onion – 1 big

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

Chilly Powder – 1 tsp

Hing – ¼ tsp

Garam masala – ¼ tsp



To Temper

Mustard seeds -1 tsp

urad dal – 1 tsp

Jeera -1/2 tsp

Dry red chilies – 2


Clean bhindi in running water and wipe with with a kitchen napkin.

Cut the edges and chop lengthwise.

Heat oil in a pan add do the tempering.

Add bhindi and fry for a mint and put turmeric powder, chilly powder, hing fry for a minute.

Now add the chopped onions and fry until everything is mix well.

At this point add salt and garam masala and cook till the bhindi’s turn soft.
