Hibiscus Tea

Hibiscus tea is traditional drink which is know for its health benefits. We have this flower in our garden but very few people use it as food.

Hibiscus (chembarathi) Tea Red

Hibiscusflowers- 2 (one for each glass)
Water -2 Sugar for taste
Lemon or lime juice- few drops Ice – (For Hibiscus Ice Tea)

Remove the stamen from the flower and clean.
Boil the water in a container and add the hibiscus flower and boil till the water color turn blackish-purple as the colour comes out of the flower. Strain the flower and the lime juice add sugar if needed. If you want iced tea keep the tea for cooling and add ice cubes
