Milk Powder – 1 ½ cup

Maida – 2 tsp

Ghee- 1 tsp

Yogurt – 2 tsp

Baking Soda – ¼ tsp

Salt – a pinch

Oil – For deep frying

For Syrup

Sugar – 2 ½ cup

Water – 3 ½ cups

Cardamom – 2 pods

Saffron – few

Mix the milk powder, maida and baking soda together and add ghee and curd to it and knead to make a soft sticky dough and let it to rest for 5 mints.

For making a sugar syrup in a pan bring water to boil add saffron, cardamom and sugar and cook till it becomes to a syrup consistency.

Take small portion of dough and shape it into smooth balls without any cracks.

Heat oil or ghee and deep fry the jamuns till they turn golden colour.

Drain and drop the jamuns into the syrup and soak for 2 hours.gulabjamun2 WM
