Rice cheese pops

     

This is an easy tiffin box item with left over rice. 

Ingredients 

Cooked rice – 1 cup

Cheese – 1/4 cup

Spring of onion- 1 (green part finely chopped) 

Deseeded Green chilly-1 (chopped)

oregano-1/4 tsp

thyme-1/4 tsp

Salt

Oil

Method 

Mash cooked rice and salt. 

Add chopped sling onion, chilly, oregano, thyme and mix well

Make it into small balls and press with hand make a hole in the middle and fill it with cheese. 

Make it into the form of small pancakes 

Insert a pop stick to make a hold in the rice pancakes and remove it back. 

Shallow fry the rice pancakes and insert the pop sticks back.
