Cooked Basmati rice – 2 cups…
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Chana dal- ½ tsp
Urad dal – ½ tsp
Red chillies – 2-3
Green Chillies – 2 (slit lengthwise)
Peanuts – 10 (roasted and unsalted)
Cashewnut – 10
Curry leaves – 5
Turmeric powder -1 tsp
Juice of 2 lemons
Salt to taste
Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts, peanuts, curry leaves and green chillies. Fry for another minute.
Add the turmeric powder, lemon juice and mix well.
Add the rice and salt to taste and mix thoroughly
