Sabja Ginger lemonade is one the healthiest summer juice. Sabja seeds are basically sweet basil seeds that have and crunchy texture. It gives cooling effect to the body. This seed looks similar like black sesame seeds and when socked in water the seeds will become jelly like. Ginger is a common ingredient in Asian cuisine and has been widely used because of its healthy properties.
|Recipe Type –Drinks/ Juice Cuisine: Indian Serves- 2
Ginger – 2 teaspoon minced
Sabja seeds – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 2 teaspoon
Cold Water – 2 cups
In a small bowl place the sabja seeds and pour ½ cup of water and allow it to rest for 10 minutes or until it grows big like jelly cocoons.
Mix water, sugar and ginger and bring the mixture to a boil until the sugar dissolves and allow this water mixture to cool down.
Cut the lemon and squeeze the juice and add it to ginger water and mix well.
Add the soaked sabja seeds and give it a mix .
