Pineapple Jam

Pineapple (Cubes)– 1kg

Pineapple (Chopped) – 2tsp

Sugar – 2 cup

Salt – a pinch


Yellow Food colour– Few drops (optional)

Lemon Juice – 2 tsp

Method: Blend the pineapple cubes to puree. In a pan add pineapple puree, chopped pineapple and sugar. Cook this till the sugar is dissolved and gets little thicker. Once the mix becomes thicker add salt and the food colour and mix well. Off the flame add the lemon juice, mix well and let it cool down. Store this jam in a dry clean glass jar.pineappe jam3
