sabudana khichdi is also know as vrat ki khichdi. This dish is generally prepared during festival season.
Sabudana (Chowari)- 1 Cup
Peanuts – 1/2 cup (without Skin)
Potato- 1 (cubed and cooked)
Cumin- 1 tsp
Green Chillies – 2
Sugar- 1 tsp
Hing – ¼ tsp
Lemon juice to taste
Soak Sabudana (Chowari)
Grind Peanuts to a fine powder and keep aside.
Heat 1 tbsp butter/ghee, add the cumin, chillies, hing and turmeric with curry leaves.
Add the sabudana, cooked potatoes, peanut powder,sugar and salt.
Sprinkle some water and cook.
Garnish with Cilantro and lemon juice.
