The favorite sweet and tangy table sauce of Kids….
Tomato – 1 kg
Onion – 1 small
Garlic – 4 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch
Red chill – 2 (deseeded)
Apple Vinegar – 1 tsp
Rock Salt – 1 tsp
Sugar – 6 tsp
Blend tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, red chill into very smooth paste.
In a heavy bottom saucepan pour this mixture and cook gently over low heat till the sauce reduces by half
Add the apple vinegar, salt, sugar and cook till the sauce reduces and thickens to ketchup consistency.
Allow the ketchup to cool and again blend this ketchup.
Store in glass bottles.
