When we think of Christmas the first thing comes to our mind is the xmas tree. This xmas starts with an edible xmas cup cake tree.
All Purpose Flour – 2 cup
Baking Soda – ½ tsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Egg – 2
Milk – ½ cup
Butter (unsalted) – 4 tsp
White Sugar – 1 cup
Vanilla Extract – ½ tsp
Coco powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Ice cream cone -3
Cake sprinkles – few
Preheat the oven to 180 degree.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, coco powder and mix well.
In a bowl mix sugar butter and beat with an electric mixer till it becomes light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat the mixture again then add Vanilla.
To this mixture add the dry mixture adding milk and beat well.
Fill the mixture to cups upto 3/4 and bake for 20 mints or till it is cooked. To check if the cake is cooked insert a toothpick into the cake and if the pick comes out clean the cake is ready.
Butter Cream frosting
Butter – 300 g
Icing sugar – 600 g
Vanilla extract – ½ tsp
Food Colour – few drops
Beat the icing sugar and butter together adding vanilla extract till it becomes smooth.
Method for Cup cake tree
Take the white frosting and pipe it on top of the cup cakes.
Place the ice cream cone on top the cake.
Take half of the frosting and mix with green food colour.
Fill the green icing in a piping bag and with the star nozzle pipe the ice cream cone.
Put the sprinkles on the top the tree.
