Lemon Cake

Ingredients
All Purpose Powder  – 225g
Caster sugar – 225 g
Butter – 170 g
Eggs – 2
Baking soda – ¼ tsp
Butter milk – 3 tsp
Lemon zest and Lemon juice – 1

Note: All the ingredients to be should be in room temperature.
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Beat egg till it becomes fluffy.
Lemoncake2 WmBeat butter, sugar and buttermilk  together with an electric whisk for 10.

 

Add lemon zest and lemon juice and beat till its soft.
Mix the butter and egg mixture together and slowly add the all purpose powder and fold slowly till it is combined well.
After mixing well add the baking soda and mix for 3 mints
Keep folding till all the flour is combined well.
Pour the batter into the mould and tap the mould to get rid of excess air.
Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 – 25 minutes
