Red Velvet Pancakes

The best way to begin the Valentine’s Day is to win the heart and the best way to enter there is through the taste buds. Here goes my tips for an healthy and tasty breakfast.


All-Purpose flour – 11/2  cup

Milk – 3 tsp

Eggs -2

Water -1/2  cups

Sugar – 1/4 cup

Baking Powder – 1 tsp

Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp

Cocoa (unsweetened)-1 tsp

Buttermilk – 2 cup

Vanilla extract – ½ tsp

Food colour – 2 tsp




Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl until evenly blended.

Beat the eggs, buttermilk, vanilla  and sugar until smooth becomes smooth.

Gradually add the buttermilk mix to flour and mix well then add water and make the batter to the pancake consistency.

Heat a griddle and pour a ladle of batter.

Put little butter on the edges of the pancake and cook until bubbles on the top of the pancake.

Turn the pancakes and cook and with a cookie cutter cut it into heart shape.
