Meen Thenga Ularthiyadosa (Fish Coconut Fry Dosa)

For Dosa Batter

Rice -3 cups
urad dal -1 cup
Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp

Soak the ingredients in water for about 6 hrs.
Grind urad dal and then rice to a fine smooth paste.
Mix both together with salt and keep it overnight for fermentation.

For fish Fry

Kingfish (boneless)- 200gm (can use any fleshy fish)
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Chilly power – ¼ tsp
Coriander power –1/4tsp
Onion – 100 gm
Chopped coconut – 50 gm
Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
Curry leaves

Marinate the fish with all the ingredients and keep it for 10 mints.
Heat the oil and fry till it becomes soft and after cooling crush the fried fish in the mixer.
In the same pan add more oil and add curry leaves and coconut. Fry for two mints and then add the finely chopped onion and pepper. Fry till the onion is golden brown.
Add the fried crush fish and fry till it becomes little crispy.

Heat up a dosa tawa.
Pour a ladle of dosa batter on the tawa and spread it thin.
Pour oil or ghee over it.
When one side is cooked turn the dosa and then place a portion of the fish in the center and fold the dosa from both sides.
